➛ He’s slow to react to mechanics, waiting for another party member to ‘solve’ them first. He will usually delay until the last moment, then use Shukuchi (regardless of role) to jump to the safe spot.

Tank Role

➛ ‘Dark Knight’ icon in party, but seems a hybrid between dark knight and warrior, with less dark magic-based visual effects, and more ‘physical impact’ ones. He also lacks several skills from dark knight that are heavily tied to the storyline lore of that job (Living Dead, The Blackest Night, & Living Shadow).

➛ He has a unique ‘short cooldown’ mitigation in place of the The Blackest Night, called ‘Internecine’, which is functionally Nascent Flash. He is quicker to use it to heal others than he is to use it to heal/mitigate for himself. He will always prioritize the person in party with the lowest current health to place Internecine on. If no one besides himself is low on health, he will always place it on the player.

➛ He has a unique invulnerability in place of Living Dead, called ‘Ephemeral Nature’, which is functionally Holmgang, which he will only use if he is below 10% health.

➛ Uses Dark Missionary frequently to mitigate unavoidable roomwide damage.

Melee DPS Role

➛ ‘Samurai’ icon in party, but is missing several key samurai abilities/functionality, including all ‘Hissatsu’ abilities/kenki gauge related functionality, and meditation functionality/attacks that rely on meditation stacks. In exchange, he has the rogue abilities Mug & Trick Attack to provide some party support and self-damage buffs. The usual samurai ranged attack, Enpi, is replaced with Throwing Dagger, as well.

➛ Will immediately use limit break on bosses when it becomes available regardless of what level the limit break is, and will disregard his own safety to cast it, completely ignoring mechanics.

➛ He will execute Mug, followed by Trick Attack (which he doesn’t need to Hide to execute), immediately after a boss is pulled.

➛ Only uses Iaijutsu after accumulating enough sen for Midare Setsugekka.
